The River Opus Introduction
The River Opus will be built on the 144,662 sq ft Valley Point site at 491 River Valley Road, where a 20-storey office tower, a two-storey shopping centre and the 255-room Fraser Suites Singapore currently stand. The whole site is being redeveloped, which is rare for a plot this size in River Valley.
The land is held on a 999-year lease that runs to 2876, the same lease as Valley Park next door. With a 999-year title, The River Opus sits alongside The Robertson Opus, rather than the 99-year launches along Zion Road and River Valley Green.
The site is zoned for commercial and residential use. The scheme reported by The Edge Singapore comprises four-blocks, including residential homes, a 184-unit serviced residence and a retail podium, with around 417 residential units estimated.

Location and Connectivity
Great World MRT (TE15) on the Thomson-East Coast Line is about 750 m along River Valley Road, which puts Orchard one stop away and Marina Bay and Shenton Way a few stops the other way. The station opens straight into Great World City.
Tiong Bahru MRT (EW17) on the East-West Line is about 760 m across the Kim Seng bridge, giving you a second line to Raffles Place and the airport. Havelock MRT (TE16) is less than 900 m away, and Orchard Boulevard and Redhill are both about 1.2 km away.
